What I have so far of the comic is up now, and the only thing I can do when I look back at it is wince. It's awful to see my lovely story mutated by deadlines (less than three weeks for ten pages) and inexperience at producing a long-running comic. I have since improved my scripting/inking skills, and the series will continue. I've not yet gotten to the interesting bits! I am, though, impressed with myself for completing what I did and not abandoning the project. Being in the school setting around everyone with their amazing comics was definitely motivating.
New 'The Disconnect' will be OVER NINE THOUSAND times awesomer than before.
I've got to get out all the ideas in my brains or some explosions will occur, I assure you.
It's now just a question of finding time.
The mural and a new self-portrait for next year's portfolio are in progress.
Why do I sound so serious when I write these things?
